    HI
does anyone know whether this can be replaced and what the part number is? Mine's broken - the spring arms of the top holder have cracked. I can't find a reference to this part anywhere.
    Any help much appreciated.

It's part of the board. Can you tape the stick down with electrical tape?

replacement of the ram holder is a very complex job, not something you would able to do without the necessary equipments. As said, try using an insulated sticky tape to stick the ram down. Or just use the the known good ram slot on the T400, which can still permit you to use up to 4 gigs per slot.

Thank you both - I'll try with the sticky tape. It should hold down. The construction is not very sturdy....
