Hi there, I am very close to buying a T400 and just need to make sure that I get it for as low a price as I can. I would be qualified to purchase it for either education or small business, if that makes a difference. Any great discounts/sales/coupon codes I should know about?

Buying through CPP via online runs no risk; they don't ask for verification. The code you need is a shared code and many people in the past have purchased items with it no problem.

Not on the CPP page it doesn't -- at least not when I looked just now. It asks for a passcode. Others have stated that official policy is that contractors are allowed to share this code with family and friends.

In any evening, they don't ask for anything if you order online. You're not committing fraud or anything by using the code. Lenovo is NOT losing any money selling at CPP discount.

Lenovo had a 15% offer on the Thinkpad T400 which got reduced to 10% when the next coupon came out. My own hunch is thast there will be a sale price and another coupon code which will be cheaper than the 15% offer. And when it does come in I will order it very nicely equipped.

Right now I am using someone elses Dell Inspiron 9300 which is not even comparable to a Lenovo and is way too bulky to boot.

Don't forget to keep an eye on available coupon codes that work on ThinkPads too. There have been a lot in the past few weeks, though none are active now that work on the T400. There was one for 10% off yesterday though.

Is CPP stackable with other coupon codes?

If so the way to go with the T400 is CPP + Stackable coupon when next quality promo comes out.
