Hi guys, I just did a successful clean install but I seem to be missing one driver called the PCI Serial Port and Vista 32-bit is unable to install it. Is it firewire or something else? Much appreciated if anyone could tell me what driver I am missing or where I could find it!

What happened when you installed the driver?

I have a similar issue, but it doesn’t really annoy me. I don’t know what it is, but I am also missing a “PCI Simple Communications Controller.” Granted, I haven’t installed every single driver from Lenovo, and it’s not the FireWire port, but I too would like to know what this is. FWIW, the hardware ID is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2A44&SUBSYS_20E617AA&REV_07. I thought it might be the modem, but my modem appears to be properly detected.

You need to install the Intel AMT drivers:

Is the Intel AMT driver of any importance? What's it used for?
