    T400 Extra Battery

    I currently have a T400 with a 4 cell battery, i was wondering where i'd be able to buy a 9 cell battery and an extra power adapter?

    The manufacture quotes 3.6 hours, so I am guessing 3 should be possible under normal conditions

    But I would also like to know this from an actual user. I am thinking about getting the 4 cell and the ultrabay to make my laptop more portable, but the 8 weeks is annoying me....

    I get 2.30 hours on screen brightness 50% dvdrw set to auto poweroff bluetooth off (Very imp.) and Wifi on using a 4 cell.

    2:30 seems to be about the average for a 4 cell on a T400.

    I get a little under 2 1/2 hours with screen at around 70%, web browsing. That's with the 4 cell.

    i get about 2 hours with music/wifi on and screen at 100%

    i heard that the t61 batteries differ from the t400? is that true?

    No, they are the same.

    Got my battery from MWave, not the cheapest but it didn't come from HK directly and no waiting 6 weeks + from Lenovo. Had it in 3 days.

    EDIT: Just checked, MWave doesn't have 9cell or Slim adapter... :(
