Hey all, to start off with I just got my T400 today and I love it. One issue that is snagging me though is the fact that I have a wireless N draft 2.0 router and the intel 5300 card in my laptop and only get 6-13 mbps. I have my router set up correctly, I have to broadcast in G and N modes since my girlfriends computer is only wireless G. First I thought it would be distance, but that didn't seem to make a difference. Second thing I tried was to update the intel drivers and access connections, and that didn't seem to make a difference. Finally I tried playing with the power setting in access connections and that only increased it to 19 mbps.

It seems when the laptop first boots up it goes to over 100+ mbps then after a few seconds it drops to these low speeds. If anyone has any tips it would be greatly appreciated.

I should note that this is with a factory install and not a clean install.

Well, just to update everyone since no one else appears to have this issue. I contacted Lenovo support and told them everything I did and actually had a pleasant experience with their support. They had me run PC Doctor to confirm what I was telling them, and they are sending me a new 5300 card overnight. Hopefully it will resolve the issues that I'm having.
