    T400 Keyboards suck? Not as good as T43?

    I just got a T400. Lot's of nice things about this unit, especially the display quality and LED screen which is awesome. :)

    BUT I really don't like the keyboard. I had a T43 which had the best keyboard I've ever owned. The T400 seems very stiff, hard to press, and has no 'clickity' tactile feel like the T43. :eek: :(

    Is is just me? Does it need to be broken in? :confused:

    What are the rest of you experiencing with the keyboard? It's really frustrating me and I feel like I had a workout after typing something.

    Do you know what model (ALPS, CHICONY, NMB) you got on the T43 and T400? If it really stiff, you might have gotten a CHICONY model.

    Search the forum. The keyboard on the T400s and related, and their solution, has been discussed ad nauseam.

    I thought Chicony keyboards were the clicky ones... if his T400 keyboard isn't as clicky as his T42's, then why would you assume that the T400 had a Chicony?
