    Hi,

If I get the 14" LG LED screen in the T400, can I expect it to look like the 15.4" LED LG that are in some macbook pros? I was very happy with that screen. While we're at it, why don't we compare it to the Sony Vaio Z as well?

What I'm after is not the absolute best screen out there, but one that makes it into the Macbook Pro/ Vaio Z tier.

I like the Lenovo build quality, keyboard, thinklight, the jet black boring looks, etc.

MBP's have glossy screens with glass over top, T400's are matte. To me this is a point in favor of the T400 LED, but it's a personal preference.

Glossy gives deeper black means better contrast means better color reproduction. On the other side you have a mirror, personal preference I'd say. Keep in mind that current LED panels still are not very good when it comes to viewing angles.

Thanks. I was wondering if anyone who has seen both displays in the late 2008 models (matte) or the brand new unibody models (glossy screen) can comment.

I have seen both of the macbook pros and owned the matte 2008 mbp with an LG screen, and I was hoping for a comparison.
