Is the media card reader 7 in 1 removable?
    Can you add it later?

Just not sure how it is integrated into the unit...

I figure $7.00 is cheap enough to get it as long as I can remove it if I need to use the PCMCIA for other purposes.

    Thank you,

But is it possible to remove the card reader and get access to the PCMCIA?

Probably not, I think you end up with a different bezel.

    PSREF shows 7 different cards.

"7-in-1 reader (MMC, Memory Stick, Mem Stick Pro, SD, SDHC, XD, XD Type H)"

Those are: MMC, Memory Stick, Mem Stick Pro, SD, SDHC, XD, XD Type H

Which really just boils down to four card types: MMC, MS, SD, XD.

    It's a floor polish and a dessert topping. :D

I would recommend PC Card option which provides the most flexibility. Even if it is a bezel which is removable, the option that makes the most sense out of all of them is the PC Card. Remember you can add a media reader via usb or pc card or even express bus slot. PC Card is the way to go. Other options take away from the notebook since you cant just pop in a PC Card anymore.
