    T400 Noise, Temp, Quiet Questions

I only need a quiet, cool, and big screen laptop for processing MS word, PDF, surfing internet etc. So I am wondering whether T400 is quiet or not during this stuff. Previously, I prefer X200, but the smaller screen without LED is really problem for me, and the X200s has really horrible DPI of the font. Additionally, both X200S and X300 beyond my budget a lot.

Thus, I will choose the T400 with integrated graphics, P8400 CPU, and 5400 RPM hard drive to make everything as cool, quiet as possible.

So, guys, what are your opinions? Thanks :)

If you want quiet, cool and a “big” screen (14”), look no further. The T400 is one of the quietest and coolest notebooks I’ve owned.

I think you made an excellent decision. With your specs, you should have a very quite and cool notebook.
