With x64 OSs becoming more popular, I’m curious. What OS are you running on your new, sexy yet “boring” business-class notebook?

On a separate drive, I installed the latest Leopard (OS 10.5.4), but there are no drivers for LAN, WiFi or even the integrated video, which is expected.

But your poll doesn't even differentiate between 32-bit linux and 64-bit linux!

True—I should have probably reflected this. Then again, I figured anyone using a UNIX-like OS would be running AMD64 anyway.

Why not have a choice with Win 2008 32bit. The software compatibility is better than the 64bit and it also revcognizes more than 4 gig of ram.

32 bit of any OS will not recognize all 4GB of memory. it's a 32 bit architecture limitation, not an OS limitation.

It’s nice to see about 45 percent of us using an x64 operating system
