The PC Card (Cardbus/PCMCIA) slot is is very tight. More specifically, the seating of the card (the last centimeter of insertion) can be difficult.

Card do not seat easily. You have to force it in there. If you insert and eject a few dozen times, it gets better. Be careful you have the PC Card facing upward/the correct direction, or you can break the slot.

Bad design by Lenovo. The ExpressCard slot works like butter.
