    T400 Random crash

    Since I have my laptop, it happened sometime that the computer crash. Sometime, after the "hard reboot" with the power buttun, the computer start a sort of scan on my hard disk...

    black screen with white text... the first line say

    "Checking for file system c:" and start a scan that last 5 to 10 minutes...

    I would like to know if you guys had those issue?

    The scan is to check for hard drive errors possibly incurred during hard reboots - it's normal. I'd be more worried if it didn't automatically run a scan.
