I've read in a few places that the new T series/T400 will have greater screen brightness than the current T61 series. Does anyone know if there's any truth to this? The PDFs say that the T61 WXGA+ is 200 nits while the T400 says 200+. Any clue as to what precisely the + indicates? Thanks in advance for the help, I tried some searching but didn't find anything.

Lenovo use a few different screen suppliers and their brightness could vary.

The current 14.1" WXGA+ screens are either 200 nits (Samsung, LG-Philips or CMO) or 220 nits (LG-Philips).

The case with the T400 probably won't be much different, and you can't choose the screen model/manufacturer but you will have an option for a LED Backlight screen instead of CCFL.
