So, I have searched and looked using screen care, clean screen, etc. I must've missed it.

How do I clean the screen on my T400?? Indoor screen.

I went to their website and did the damp lint free cloth thing, but it still looks streaky. When the computer is on, I don't really notice it but when off, it is SO obvious.

    Thanks
    Tony

Micro fiber cloth and a cleaning solution. You can get them at BestBuy, Wa-Mark or the like.

Any decent microfiber cloth will work with a cleaning solution of just 50/50 vinegar and water - it's cheaper to make your own. LCDs shouldn't be cleaned with anything containing alcohol or ammonia.

Normal dirt should not need anything more than a damp cotton cloth. Just wipe gently in a series of strokes from top to bottom, then wipe again with dry section of the same cloth, again from top to bottom. Only very bad dirt/stains (beyond normal computing environment) need more than that.

I've had my T500 since February, and haven't had the need to clean it with more than a microfiber cloth - although, I am a neat freak and never touch my screen, and never eat around my laptop.

A little bit of water and a soft cotton cloth would work fine. Avoid ammonia glass-cleaners, as these can damage the screen. Don't know about alcohol, since I have heard about people using it diluted with water with no adverse effects.
