I have a T400 which I have purchased through Best Buy for Business. How can I determine what screen it has?

Use Lenovo's Parts Lookup. Then, post back here with the FRU, and we'll identify it.

I put my info in and it comes back and says there are no parts to display. If I hit the warranty lookup it will find the correct warranty though so my info is correct. Is there an issue with the website? Is there another way to find out (without opening the case to the screen to get a part number)?

    Run this program:
    http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php

Look under monitor type, if it says:

    LTN141BT04002 - Then it's a Samsung
    LP141WP2-TLB1 - Then it's a LG

I have a... LP141WP1-TLB8. I am assuming this is an LG. Is the LG LED backlit?

nope. This particular screen isn't LED backlit, but rather has a CCFL backlight if I'm not mistaken.

How good is the CCFL backlit screen? I just purchased a refurbished T400 today and it had that screen specked out.

The choice on Lenovo's outlet was 14.1" TFT or 14.1" TFT w/CFL Backlight. I assumed I made a better choice by selecting the latter, was I right?
