If I was to order a T400 w/ an LCD backlight what kind of ship time am I looking at? I know the website says 1-2 weeks but thats kind of broad. Figured you guys would know best.
The issue is that after getting fixed for a month my z61t had a screen problem return and I don't really have time to deal with fixing it for a month and have it die again. On a side note, if it is still under warranty is there any chance of getting it replaced (with what?) by IBM?
Thanks

After ordering a u330 on 9/04 and getting a ship date of 10/02 that was then pushed to 10/14 I got fed up and cancelled the order. The same day I ordered a t400, which with the current sale and coupons ended up being nearly exactly the same price as the u330 but a much better computer. Online I was told a ship date of 10/14 but when I spoke to a rep today they told me 10/20. I got my order expedited, not sure if that'll make a difference or if the issue is specific to my computer or to all t400s though. Bottom line, I would expect the 1-2 week estimate to be generally accurate, but be open to the possibility that it might take longer given the cluster f*** that seems to be happening in the lenovo supply chain.

It depends a lot. I ordered a T400 w/ LED+camera. It took 3 days to ship and the shipping it self took 6 days:| If your state doesn't have a UPS Express service, it will automatically upgrade to a 2-day delivery which will take 2 days.
I think nowadays you are looking at 3 you didn't order a 9-cell, imo
