I have only used 7 on my T400, since I've been using it since the early beta and loving it, but is the battery life boost significant on Vista? Migrating isn't a huge issue for me, but a 40-60 minute boost to the battery life is (especially since I've got a CCFL panel...)

Do you have switchable graphics on your T400? if you do, then you will notice a significant boost in battery life on vista in comparison to 7, as the graphics driver for 7 will run both your graphics cards when you wake up from sleep. On Vista, i can usually get around 8-9 hours. On 7 with the same settings, i barely get 5.

If you switch to discrete and back to integrated, you'll regain your battery life.

Yep, this is what I've been doing. Kind of annoying, so I hope Lenovo patches this issue soon.

Aside from that issue, I'm getting similar battery life in 7 and in Vista - it does seem to have decreased slightly, though.
