I am looking around to try and find a case for my spare ultrabay devices. They appear to be very fragile and I was wondering if anyone makes a specific case that is designed to hold one or more of them while they are not in the computer. It might seem silly but when you put the spare battery in, you are sitting there with a $650 Blueray drive and it doesn't quite make sense to just throw it in the laptop bag.
Any suggestions?

There appears to be an old part number: 05k4562
When searched for via Google it brings up a padded case. This might work but the current Ultraslim devices are 5" x 5.45" x .335" so at 6x6.5x1 this is a little over kill. Also I was hoping for something hard that would protect it even if it is getting compressed say in an airline storage compartment. -
I know that when I was working a massive x40 deployment with docking stations the dvd drives which were in a separate box came with a nylon case.
I wouldn't say they would hold up to being banged around really hard though.
If you want something like that (which I personally think is overkill), then I'd check out Pelican cases.

I wanted to find something similar to a Pelican case but all of those are too small. The device is approx. 5 x 5 and all of those are more rectangular shaped.
One thing that I thought of that is closer is CD Player cases. If I could find a hard shelled one that was pretty decent, I could store several ultrabay devices in there and have them protected.
