This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just performed a clean install of Windows 7 Pro. Drivers were from install and windows update only. At the moment no IBM bloatware.

    I really need to utilize the xp virtualization built into Windows 7. All indications are that it is compatible, but even though the virtualizaion is enabled in the BIOS, 7 still doesnt see it as being enabled.

    Any ideas on what I may be missing?
