Just recieved my new T400 today and everything was going great until I tried to install bf2. I put the first disk in and it installs, the second disk in and it installs, and the third disk in which installs until the progress bar shows that the installation is almost complete. Then the window minimizes into the task bar and I'm unable to open it again. Task manager shows that it is still running, but the only think i'm able to do about it is to have task manager end the process. Unsure if bf2 has installed, I try to run the game and get an error message that says reinstalling should fix the problem. So I try to reinstall and have the same problem with the installation failing on the 3rd disk. Since I'm unable to install, I try to uninstall bf2 from computer, but when I try to do so either through Vista's delete program or by clicking unistall under bf2 I get another error message (random numbers and letters this time) followed by another error message.

So basically at this point I have bf2 half installed where I am unable to play it or uninstall it. Unable to think of anything else to try, I use Rescue and Recovery to get rid of bf2 (and all the updates and programs I had spent all day downloading and installing  )

After my computer has been returned to its orignal state, I try installing bf2 again and the same thing happens...all over again

Does anyone else have this same problem or know how I can install bf2? This is my first computer with Vista so hopefully I'm just being dumb and its really easy.
THANK YOU so much for reading all of this!
ps. I wasn't sure where I should post this...please move it if its in the wrong section
