Hi
I bought my T400 last year August and for various reasons are not very happy with it. The last thing that happened now is that the Laptop is not switching on anymore! There is not even a light at the Laptop or anything.
I think i bought a 3 year warranty but do i also have a option of returning the Laptop i.e getting the money back? I am also very unhappy with the Keyboard in the beginning it was OK but now just a couple month later it is worn out and soft and mushy.
Do you guys have any advice? I paid something like 2,1K for it and am not happy with the quality and how it runs in general.
Thank you for your help!

No, you can't return it. Get an RMA and ask them to replace the keyboard while they're at it.

It's too late for any kind of refund.
As far as insurance is concerned, since you do not have to worry about taking the machine back, you also don't have to worry about getting the insurance back BUT you could ask for a T61 keyboard to address some of the issues you have.

Could you tell me what an RMA is? I guess i will call them tomorrow and ship them the Laptop...not very happy about that, as I am without Laptop and even worse without my files...Thank you for your help anyways!

I believe you can remove the hard drive before shipping it back to Lenovo, although I'm not positive (wait for someone else on here to confirm, or ask the Lenovo support tech). That way, you can pop it back in when you get it back, and everything data-wise will be the same.
RMA = return merchandise authorization. Give Lenovo Support a call. -
Yes remove your hard drive, or your files might magically be formatted away. Always remove the hard drive unless they are placing it!
T400 Warranty / return please help
