Hi folks,
Just received my T400 yesterday. There are no recovery disc in the box. Besides it, I can't lookup warranty and parts infomation on Lenovo site (link: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=LOOK-WARNTY).
Other question, when i try to repartition HDD, to reduce the size of C (SW-Preload) partition by Acronis Disk Director in Hirent boot 9.7, the process complete successful, but after system restart, System recovery 4 will start automatically and i can't stop it. After "System recovery 4" finish the task, system reboot, and now, the S partition become C partition, and system can't load driver... because the SW-Preload partition now is E partition, and it cameback to old size. The i'm remove the HDD, plug it to the PC and restore entire HDD image (Norton ghost, Disk from Image).
Please anyone have experience on it, give me an instruction how to get it done. I'm wonder if Lenovo have a tool to backup system to DVD or not.
Thank you all for help me.

You should make the recovery discs immediately and a copy of the SWTools folder ain't a bad idea either. I don't use Disk Director, so no help there.

What info is stored in SWTools folder? Does Lenove have driver support windows 7? I'll try to wipe Vista and install WIndows 7 in next few days. Thanks for fast support.

All the drivers and applications installed on your ThinkPad.

Lenovo has driver support for their drivers for windows 7. Zaz means the drivers that are on your copy of the operating system that came with your machine.
