    Three part questions for gallery:

    I've done a clean build of my T400, Windows 7 x64.

Pretty much no muss no fuss, except for the following:

In Device Manager, the ATI Mobility Radeon has an error (!) on it, the properties says "Device cannot be started". The Intel device is fine

Also, in Device manager, the WWAN card isn't recognized:
    -Ericsson F3507g....blah blah
    -PCI Simple Comm Controller

Those two say "driver not installed" in properties.

So the question to my Lenovo brethren is:

    - Any thoughts on the ATI issue? Win 7 did recognized and update the driver.
    - Where would I get the F3507g driver? (Is that the "Wireless WAN (HSDPA) driver for Vodafone and Cingular" on the Lenovo Win 7 Beta site, or the "Vodafone and AT&T Wireless WAN (HSPA) Driver"?)

I did look at the sticky thread, and I know there are Windows 7 beta drivers, but I had some issues with those during the RC1 times, and so I am steering clear unless I really need them. (Any experiences with the current crop is welcome; I sort of need a good reason to use the Lenovo ones if the build-in ones are working fine).

Secondly, I don't want to bloat up my machine with the Thinkpad /Thinkvantage apps. However, some do have value, depending on which posts you read. Which ones would you recommend?

Thirdly, what is the difference between UltraNav and UltraNav 2?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Okay, since no body chimes into help, I got part of the way:

F3507g driver is this one: 7uw706ww.zip

However, I still have an uninstalled device: -PCI Simple Comm Controller

    Any ideas?

Then don't. Do a clean install BUT remember to back up your system.

I've never lost a disk and I wish I had a dollar for each useless back up I had. Microsoft has taken care of that with the backup in windows 7.
