My T400 has been crashing -- it will not get past the boot and freezes up as as soon as the desktop appears, at which point, the screen goes blue and I get a fleeting page of text that indicates some sort of fatal subsystem error. I am able to boot in safe mode. But I don't really know what to do beyond that; any advice would be greatly appreciated.

disable the automatic restart option, then boot into regular mode to see the bsod info.

Crashed the exact same way it did before. Where would I find BSOD info?

Depress the last known good configuration button while rebooting. DO NOT allow the SP3 to rerun.

Please let the women know on the Lenovo channel. There is a mail address mix up and I cant go over there.

Here's where I am at: I started in safe mode, went to system restore and then chose May 1st. I think the upgrade that is screwing me is the one delivered late in the day on May 1st. Mine seems to be working now; I also disabled the automatic system updates.
