    Hello fellow forum/T400 gurus,

I recently installed XP Pro on my T400 which originally had Vista Home Basic. Following the XP Clean Install guide, I had XP installed and everything seemed to be okay; however, for some reason I was unable to connect to the internet. Could anyone here please help me out? I really need to get my T400 connected to the internet ASAP.

    Thanks.

Have you downloaded and installed the network drivers yet? If not you're going to have to get those. I'm guessing it's 32 bit so here it is: Lenovo Support & downloads - Drivers and software - ThinkPad T400 and T400s Scroll down to the networking section and you'll find what you need. Get it from a different computer and install via a USB flash drive or similar.

Alternatively you can download and install ThinkVantage System Update to get all the drivers automatically.
