This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    T400 and instant resume

    I used to be able to just shut the lid of my laptop and when i re-open it, it'd stay connected to the wifi and I can immediately surf the net.

    Now it seems like when I go into standby, (Fn F4) even with instant resume, the connection is sort of lost, and I have to wait for the connection to re-establish, or even, often manually connecting to the wifi network.

    Anyoen else have this problem?
