This is something I only notice in my library's wireless network, so I am inclined to implicate the network: When I browse, I get frequent "no load" messages. They appear to resolve when I stop and reload the page. Sometimes, the issue lasts a few seconds. Could this be related to any of my wireless settings?

    Thanks in advance.

It's a known issue. Update your Wireless Driver. Go to Lenovo's website to obtain it.

great; thanks! anyone know the shortcut to the actual driver? I ended up on a page that has about forty driver upgrades for the T400. Thanks!

    No problem.

Go to the website and click "6hwc05ww.exe" and accept the terms and conditions.

(The website is a bit slow today....)

Awesome! Thanks. I notice it's not an automatic install; after the files are extracted, you still have to go into the drivers folder, click setup and do the installation.

Hmmmm. Still getting the dropsies. Anyway to diagnose this? It's just subtle and intermittent enough to be truly annoying. ;)

I believe there is a bump rule that is more than 24 hours...but are you sure it is isolated to the laptop. If you tested only one network and can't even control that one network it is difficult to troubleshoot.

I'd just like to jump in and say it's the laptop ... well, something related to it anyway. I have a T61 laptop I use for work. When I'm home it is more than annoying because it is dropping the connection to my wireless network every 20 minutes. I have 2 other desktop computers upstairs (further away from the router) that never drop the connection.

I've installed the driver suggested above as well (that's how I found this thread...googled 6hwc05ww.exe)

with luck, there's a solution to this ... since work isn't about to replace my laptop...

Thanks, and sorry for missing that guideline.
