    T400 cd-rom tray keeps popping out

    whenever i tap the laptop or move it, the cd tray pops out.. is it too sensititive? if i want to open it.. i can press the the blue rectangle button on the tray.. but i can also push the entire tray in and it'll still pop out..
    how do i fix this?

    you would need to get the drive replaced.

    Try ejecting the drive (Safely Remove Hardware, then use the switch on the side to release the pull tab) and reseating it. If that doesn't help matters, you will probably need to get the drive replaced.

    How could it be the drive? I don't have my T410 yet so I don't know the specs exactly, but I would assume it's the little locking switch underneath that's not working correctly. Pictures I have seen of the ultrabay ODD doesn't seem to show any locking mechanism, unless I'm mistaken. If it's spring loaded at all (again I don't know yet) then that could also be faulty, but I can't see how it's the ODD.
