    T400 comes with 2 extra ultranav nipples and 2 screws... What are the screws for?

    on the back of laptop, you can see a screw missing. That screw, when installed, makes the ultrabay DVD drive unremovable.

    Did you notice that the screws were made in Japan? The laptop was not, but the bag of two screws was. Anyone on the second screw? :D

    Nipple and screws...I think this is headed in a direction we may want to avoid (or go toward, depending on your bent.) ;-)

    Angle is on the right track. The two screws are for securing the Ultrabay and hard disk bay. You will notice the screws have hex head instead of the typical philips head. Hex tools or allen key wrenches are less readily available than philips screw drivers. It is designed to deter people from walking off with your Ultrabay device or hard disk drive.
