    T400 dead pixel(s)?

    Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question.

    I had what I thought was a scratch on the screen of my T400. It was about 1.5mm long, so I figured I'd just live with it.

    Sometime today, I noticed it had changed. Previously, it was slanted. Now, it's vertical. Obviously, I was wrong about it being a scratch. I hadn't experienced a dead pixel before and, well, I figured those would be individual pixels, not several grouped adjacently, and I wouldn't think they'd randomly rearrange themselves.

    I know it's not terribly relevant to Thinkpads, but figured I'd post in here. If necessary please move the topic.

    Any suggestions?

    are you sure it is dead pixel and not some dirt?

    Yes. Tried cleaning it with cleaning solution or otherwise determining if it was something physically on the screen.
