FIRST OFF , I love my Lenovo T400 and this is not an issue with the laptop. Its me and blames are all for me. I would recommend this laptop to anyone and if you are a prospective buyer dont read this. The problem is becuase I did something by myself and I dont know what![]()
I know I'd be minority here .. but I have 2 problems with my new Lenovo T400.
#1 : Sometimes it freezes on startup/bootup. I havent force-shut it down till now. Pressing the powerbutton makes it shut down and restarting makes it fine again.
#2 : There's a small lag after the windows logo screen and desktop. The screen flickers again then, and its very hard for me. Its as if the computer has crashed on startup and I keep biting my nails. I suspect the problem is with Switchable Graphics. Something like .. startup is with some graphics and as soon as it reaches desktop level it switches/reconfirms it and it does a blackout.
I have 'switchable graphics' set in BIOS and I *havent* done a clean install. Thou' I tweaked Vista with the Vista speedup guide here in NBR and uninstalled some crappy softwares (roxio etc)
Any help would be appreciated, or else, I'm going back to factory settings this weekend.
Thanks for your time.
