    Hi everyone,

Does anyone seem to have a problem with hibernation with the T400? I try to bring it out of its hibernated state by pressing the power button, but I end up having to press the power button several times to wake it up (followed by several loud beeps by the system). Is normal?

Also, does anyone have an issue with the sound being garbled up every once in a while?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

I haven't experienced any of these problems. What OS are you using?

Make sure you've installed the latest Service Pack and device drivers.

I agree with Gatorman, check that everything is up-to-date (including all of your drivers to see if this makes a difference). Is the power key sticking? It sounds like it might be if you're having to press it a few times.

Similar issues. Mine no longer will hibernate and I lost the sound in my speakers.
