One of our customers has a T400 that he would like to have the motherboard replaced.

The FRU on his motherboard is 60Y3761

The FRU for the board I found on ebay that I would like to replaced his motherboard with is 63Y1195

Is there any particular reason why I cannot swap one board out with another, or is there some sort of incompatibility issue that I'm overlooking?

Thanks in advance for your insight!

I'm curious as to the reasoning for the switch? The boards should be swappable. The fan might be different depending on whether it's got an integrated or dedicated GPU.

    It's DEAD!

Good thinking, I'll have to take that into consideration.
