    Please help me with this:

    will the optical drive of T61 work on T400?
    I have a dvd burner for T61 so I dont want to order it with the T400 if they are the same.

    No, if I read correctly, the ultrabay in the T61 was the old ata interface and the ultrabay in the T400 is sata.
