I surprised at how many T400 owners there are compared to T500 owners, it seems like 50 to 1?
I wonder why? Is it because the is no LED screen option yet on the T500 in the States?
Or is the T500 that much heavier or larger that people don't want them.
I'm looking for something with a little larger screen. The T500 seems to be the best bet on the market right now, but it's a low selling item compared to the T400 for some reason?
Thanks

i decided on the T400 because of the LED screen. in a couple years when i upgrade again, i will probably go with a 15.4... by then there should be ample options.
-
i opted t400 coz of the lesser price and the led screen
-
the T series meant for portable solution, and 14.1" is much portable than 15.4".
plus, t400 with LED screen means about 9-10 hrs battery life with 9 cell and integrated video card, that is by far unmatchable by T500 with 9 cell. i believe T500 with 9 cell can only go upto 5-6 hours. I'm not sure if that's with LED or not. but I recall the difference isnt as significant as the T400 battery life
(T400 battery life without LED screen is like 5-6 hours battery life with 9 cell battery) -
I opted for the T400 for 2 reasons.
1: I prefer my laptops to be small...portable laptops..I have a desktop for power
2: LED Display and good resolution to boot! -
Size... I would have probably taken a T300 if it existed.

Portability, LED screen, and price!
T400 owners ... how come?
