For all you folks that have a new T400 with the 160 GB 7200 RPM Hard Disk Drive -- who is the manufacturer and what generation of drive came installed on your laptop? I can't make up my mind whether to let Lenovo install this drive, or go with the default drive and then go by my own 7200 after I get the machine and do it myself. Thanks for your feedback!

I don't know about the generation, but I received a Hitachi.

I got Hitachi. However, I replaced with 320GB Scorpios.
The 5400rpms are Hitachi as well.
