I've installed an SSD and clean installed Win7. Both Lenovo Power Manager and the Power Management Driver has been installed. Power manager shows 3/7 circles for power usage. All processor power management features have been enabled, and the wifi has been put to "maximum power savings" mode.

Switchable graphics have been configured to use "energy savings" or the integrated Intel graphics. Something interesting to note is that I cant switch graphics to high performance anymore. It says 'please disable any 3D applications and disconnect external monitors before switching'. But I don't have any 3D apps or monitors attached, weird.

Current power usage is 30W when idle, it was 15W before on the HDD.
I get about 2hrs battery life on 9cell and it was 4~5hrs earlier.

    EDIT:
The problem corrected itself after I uninstalled and reinstalled the ATI Switchable graphics driver. Now rockin' at 11W idle :D
