I got my T400 yesterday, and I have been having problems with the OS for the past 20 hours.
I wanted to use Korean MUI, but I found out that home premium version does not support Windows Multi language pack.
So I installed my Windows 7 Enterprise K and set every driver manually(found it weird that the system did not install them by itself).
However, I found out that T400 only works well with Home premium and Professional version of Windows 7
Thinkvantage, switchable graphics do not work properly.
I wanted to restore it back to the original version but my media boot CD does not work properly.
I can boot it to the CD but after it says I have to insert "Product recovery disc," but I don't have it.
I still have Lenovo_Recovery partition but I don't know how to access to the CD-making program.

    Can anyone help me?

you should call lenovo and tell them that your recovery media discs are not working properly, and need a new set sent out to you.

is there any other way than getting the discs from them?
    ex) creating them by myself?

I've been trying to install the rescue & recovery program
but it says .tvt file is missing..

Okay I installed R&R successfully, but I can't create media recovery discs..
It only let me create the first CD, and doesn't require me to insert the second DVD. Why does it happen?

as i have said call Lenovo and ask them for a set of recovery disks, just say your restore partition is damaged, they will send the discs for free using overnight express.

You just gotta pressure them a bit. Just tell them you made a set and they are not working

    Thank you very much sir.
I had to talk on the phone more than an hour to finally convince them to send me a new set of recovery discs!
I hope my computer would be fine after I use the recovery discs.
    I appreciate your help!

Haha, you don't want Enterprise K edition. In fact unless you have a Technet Plus subscription, you aren't supposed to have access to ANY enterprise edition! Also unless you live in S Korea, you aren't supposed to have access to the K edition either... Hrm... :p

You want the ultimate edition, in fact you're only supposed to be able to install Ultimate, not Ent if you want the language packs. If you are trying to install an unmodified version of Windows 7, you need to install drivers seperately by downloading them from their site. However, Ultimate shouldn't be hindering the Lenovo drivers vs Pro/Home Prem.
