Title says it all. Need to find a replacement for my T400 screen.

Its a 1440x900 LED and I'd like something similar in regards to resolution and being LED. Doesnt have to be the same model; if there's from a Sony Vaio or a LG IPS screen i'd gladly take one of those.

So where can I find a replacement at a good price, and is it possible to replace with a Sony, LG, etc or must I use an original replacement?

    Thanks.

    Lenovo Support - Parts lookup

Me and my coworker use blisscomputers.net which unlike most companies are sourced in New Jersey not China. First find out the specific P/N you need from the Lenovo parts look up.

I don't know what other screens are available, but Lenovo used Samsung and LG for the T400 WXGA+ led screens. Definitely get the LG; I've owned T400's with both and the LG is tremendously better than the Samsung. It's actually decent by Lenovo standards. If you've got the LG now and end up with a Samsung panel you'll be hating the machine; and if you have a Samsung now and get a LG it'll be a huge upgrade.

This is the p/n you need is LP141WP2-TLB1.
