I have a t400, its about 3 months old. There are 2 users. If one of us is logged in, and we want to switch user to the other user, every time there is a message that the user trying to open the desktop is not recognized, and some sort of generic desktop opens instead (not that person's personalized desktop).

Most of the time, if one of the users actually logs out, the other user can successfully log in.

Why are we not able to switch users without logging out, but just clicking the "switch user" button? Anyone dealt with this, and what to do?
