i tried hooking up my z-5500 for 5.1 audio but it seems like it's not working. i bought a toslink/optical minijack and plugged the cable into the headphone slot and then the other one into z5500.for some reason my z5500 doesnt recognize it when it's plugged in. maybe t400 doesnt support it? since there's no red light coming out of my headphone jack whatsoever. http://forums.lenovo.com/lnv/board/message?board.id=ideaPad&thread.id=5120 apparently it works on the other lenovo series though.
