    Am buying a T400 for the office to add to the T61 floating around. How do I know whether I get one with a flex keyboard or a later version ? Which model number should I look at or how do I know ?

    You won't know until you get it but if you buy it new you are almost certainly going to get the later, i.e. non-T61-kind and more flex-kind, keyboard.
