    Well,
I haven't done a lot with my machine yet... dang work. Anyway, it appears I did get the LG screen, so that is good.

Keyboard Flex: I just don't know. I mean, if I push hard enough, I get flex. It does seem less rigid in the corners; but regular typing doesn't seem to be worse than any other laptops I have used. It is better. BUT... it doesn't feel as solid as the regular keyboard I am using now. So, if ThinkPad's had keyboards as solid as good external (?) keyboards, then yes, this is a bit 'flexier'.

    WHAT SOFTWARE CAN I DUMP?

I don't want to through a clean install and all of that, but some of the trials and crap I want to get rid of. Also, how about all of the Windows stuff... Windows Movie Maker, Window Picture Viewer, stuff like that... is this good to use? I have heard some folks only us Windows OS and nothing else (no Office, no IE, etc)> I do use Mozilla and am trying to migrate to OpenOffice.org

Thoughts... what about Remove Software and then Reg Cleaning...

I know these topics are addressed elsewhere, but some of the threads are just pure beasts (size wise)

I removed office. Don't use IE but kept it just in case. Using Firefox. Installed OpenOffice. Didn't touch the rest.
