    Hi,

I have a question. When I watch a video on my T400 (using vlc..if that matters) and I move the laptop, or the table is moved, the video freezes. Is this because of the media player I am using? Or something with the machine.

I just tried it with WMP and it froze as well.

    Any help would be great.

    thanks!

It's because of a Lenovo feature called Active Protection System. When the system detects shock, it automatically park the head of the HDD to prevent any damage to the HDD. As a result, any HDD activity, such as streaming video, will be stopped temporarily as well.
