What's the actual weight of the T400 with 6 cell? Is it 5.1 lbs?

    What about a 6 cell Latitude E series 14.1"?

I'm trying to find a good reason to get rid of my macbook pro but simply can't find anything that compares with its size/weight/thinness.

I don't know about the weights with 6-cell, sorry. Here are the base dimensions though which might help:

    Dell Lat E6400: 13.10 x 9.37 x 1.00-1.20 @4.30 pounds
    Thinkpad T400: 13.20 x 9.40 x 1.10-1.30 @4.70 pounds
    MacBook Pro 15": 14.10 x 9.60 x 1.00 @5.40 pounds

If you are really looking for something small but reasonably powerfull:

    Sony Vaio Z: 12.40 x 8.30 x 1.00-1.30 @3.42 pounds
