My T400's camera has brownish/yellowish pictures in its camera. It seems very bad, far away from being decent. This is my first thinkpad with camera and hope to get your input.

Does your T400's camera produce the similar pictures?

    Cheers!

the pic quality on my T400 is bad and i feel it is shameful on Lenovo/IBM for such bad pic quality. Feel kind of cheated.

Whoa. One of the reasons I ordered a T400 was to add the webcam for Skype.

It kind of ticks me off. From what I'm reading, this issue has been around since the 14" T61. If that's the case, this is pretty abysmal on the part of Lenovo.

My camera is actually very nice, with no issues at all with the color. I've used it in various lighting conditions, including outdoors and at night with a desk lamp on.

I've removed the plastic cover and I have not had to use any of the tricks described in the above threads.

By "plastic cover", do you mean just the protective shipping film?

Yes but there have been reports that for some there are actually two separate layers of it -- one smaller just over the lens itself.
