Would anyone know what could be the problem. I got the Thinkpad T400 with Vista Business 64 and I installed the vista 64 version of Symantec Endpoint (antivirus) But every few minutes I am getting error with Symantec Endpoint Protection. The "SMC.exe" fails to show me a message, the message title is "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library".
Anyone know a fix for this, could it be a computer problem, I don't have the right updates installed yet from the Lenovo website.

Symantec says this is due to an incompatibility between Symantec Endpoint Protection and ThinkVantage Client Security Software. Currently there is no fix.

FWIW, the latest Symantec Enterprise stuff is becoming so bloated itÂ’s becoming a joke/laughable.
