I'm having some problems with gaming on my T400, specifically, with NHL09.
The first few times I ran it, it would open centred in the screen with black bars on the sides (sort of like the black bars at the top and bottom of a 16:9 DVD, except they were on the sides).
As of today when I open it, most of the screen goes black and the game runs in the top left corner of my screen, about 1/4 the size of the whole LCD.
Does anyone have any idea what this is due to and what settings I should play around with?
Thanks
Current settings--
Power Plan: maximum performance
Switchable Graphics: high performance
ATI 3D Settings--
Standard settings: Balanced
Anisotropic filtering & Anti Aliasing: application managed
Catalyst A.I: standard
Mipmap detail level: high-quality
...I don't feel like typing the rest unless someone wants those settings

I know the reason if you were running the 4500 card. The setting is under the aspect ratio adjustments.
it's notebook panel properties - attributes under catalyst -
That worked perfectly. thank you
