I bought a T400 about a month ago for school use with a bit of light gaming when I'm on the road. Well now that I'm home for Thanksgiving break I am finally starting to do that light gaming I had in mind when I bought it but it seems to me the performance I'm getting is rather under par.

To put it in perspective the game I'm playing is World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and my fps hovers between 15-30 on the lowest settings. This doesn't seem right to me. I do have the ATI 3470 discrete graphics option and adjusted my bios to make use of it full time while I'm at home. Is there something wrong or is the type of performance I should expect?

Make sure your laptop's power setting is set to "Full Power"

Also, ensure the switchable graphics is set to the ATI 3470, and not the Intel X3100.
