    hey. i have found that if in the trackpoint settings you select "neither" as the scrolling or magnifying glass function, you get a nice scroll globe that will go all four ways. it functions much better than the trackpoint scroll function IMHO. try it out if you are dissatisfied with the trackpoint scroll function. word.

    the regular scroller goes all 4 directions also, it just doesn't work in firefox for some reason. it works in internet explorer and chrome and in regular computer folders. that also seems to be the same thing you get if you select 'smooth' scrolling in the scroller options.
    that is good to know, though, i've never selected 'neither' before.

    If I hold my middle button in for a second or so, it just goes to screensaver. Which leaves me really confused.
